Adoption Process
We do our best to ensure every puppy is placed in a safe, loving, and prepared home.
Our commitment to our dogs extends far beyond the day they are born. We take great care in matching our puppies with families who are ready for the rewarding journey of dog ownership. The steps outlined below have been carefully designed to guide you through our application and selection process, providing you with the information, transparency, and support you need to confidently bring your new puppy home.
Our Adoption Process
Step 1: The Puppy Application Your first step is to fill out our brief online application. This helps us get to know you, understand your lifestyle, and ensure our Maple Doodles are placed in the best possible homes. We review every application carefully and will reach out to you with the next steps.
Step 2: Securing Your Puppy If after review of your application, you decide to move forward, we require a $500 reservation fee to hold one of our pups from the litter.
Step 3: Meet & Greet (In-Person or Video Call) Once the puppies are around 7–8 weeks old, have received their first vaccines, and completed temperament testing, it’s time to meet them! To ensure the health and safety of the litter, we wait until this milestone to schedule interactions. You can visit us in person or set up a video call to see the puppies in action and observe their unique personalities. Following your visit, we’ll discuss which pup best suits your home. We pride ourselves on matching our puppies based on temperament and fit, while also prioritizing your preferences for sex, color, and size.
Step 4: Take-Home Day The most exciting step! Our puppies stay with us until they are 10-12 weeks old. This gives them crucial extra time to learn bite inhibition, build confidence with their mother and littermates, and get a solid head start on socialization before transitioning to your home.
